Cars Bonus Disc
EzyDVD had an 'exclusive' bonus disc for the Pixar Cars movie, and they sold out of stock with the pre-orders and it's no longer offered. But it seems it wasn't totally exclusive. You can pick up the 2 disc edition of Cars from Sanity online or in store.
It has the same case as the single disc version, but inlcudes a sticker for the bonus disc. I don't know why they would restrict the extra disc to one or two DVD outlets.
Update: Ouch! I just watched all the special features. If you're one of these DVD collectors that finds special features to be of no value then the current release of Cars is great. However, if you are like me and enjoy behind the scenes insights into the making of a movie, especially Pixar movies, don't buy Cars. All special features are complete fluff, including those on the bonus disc. Maybe I can sell it on Ebay before the edition containing 'real' additional content is released, since the 'bonus' disc should be rare and potentially valuable to someone.
Audiophiles might also be interested to know that my ampliphier identifies the sound as 6.1 not 5.1, despite what the DVD box says and what the DVD setup menu says.
But, for some reason, even though the THX trailer sweep at the beginning of the movie is 5.1, the movie itself plays the stereo 2.0 track by default. You have to manually change to the 6.1 (5.1) track every time you play the DVD. Poor.
