Finished Zelda Twilight Princess

I got to the second last level of Zelda: Twilight Princess when I lost interest in the game for a few months.  This weekend I picked it up again and finished it off.

I can safely recommend Twilight Princess to anyone who has a Wii.  But I wanted to mention my biggest let down with this game, and that is introducing an awesome new item in one level and then not making good use of it in later levels.

I won't mention the what the item because I wouldn't want to spoil the thrill of discovering it.  It's unique and awesome fun to use.  It opened a whole new world of gameplay.  But once you've found it and completed the level you don't use it ever again.  There's no reason why it couldn't have been used extensively in all later levels - like most item and weapons are.  It was extremely disappointing and I hope it returns in the next Zelda title.

One other thing that bugged in in this Twilight Princess, and also bugged me in Wind Waker, is the lack of economy.  I hate having a wallet full of money and nothing to spend it on.  I diligently collect all my rupees and open every chest but don't really spend it.  Maybe I'm just not venturing into enough mini games.
