'Getting Things Done' & 'Remember The Milk'
I've spoken about Remember the Milk before as online tool to help organise your To Do lists. I'm still using today, but not as well as I feel I could. I still loose track of tasks and have difficulty correctly prioritising what I do.
This is where the action management method, Getting Things Done (GTD) comes into play.
Unlike other time management experts, [David] Allen [(the author of GTD)] does not start his emphasis on setting priorities. Instead he advocates creating lists of tasks that are specific to a context, for example, having a list of telephone calls to make or errands to do downtown. He also suggests that any new task which can be completed in less than two minutes should be done immediately.
The trick now is how to use this philosophy with Remember the Milk. Fortunately somebody has already layed out a plan for Getting Things Done with Remember The Milk. So now all I need to do is set myself a task to reorganise my to do lists in Remember the Milk :)
