HD Resolution Vs DVD Resolution
This page, HD vs DVD, has taken screengrabs of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, from both the original DVD and HD transmission so we can see the difference in quality. Even though he scaled the HD screengrabs down to match DVD resolution the level of details is significantly superior. With the right TV I don't think there is any denying of the benefits of HD over DVD.
