From Ars Technica:
For every $249 Zune player sold, Universal will get $1 to make up for the "unauthorized content" the company expects will make its way onto the device.
Awesome. If I am paying for music I might have stolen then surely that means the music is now legally considered purchased. If not, then can I demand a $1 discount if I'm only using my Zune to play legally acquired music?
I hate the record industry.
