Practical Example of Light vs Print Colour

Ages ago I created this picture for a magazine competition in hopes it would get printed. The idea was to simulate how phospurs on a TV create colour. But looking back I feel a bit foolish because whilst the picture and colours look right on screen, they won't on paper. The red, green and blue lines create nice white clouds on screen, but on paper they will create brown — technically. I think it would be interesting to print this picture and see how different it looks but, unfortunately, my printer couldn't handle a picture like this, and I think I've lost the original Photoshop file.

Update: Actually, I might have the wrong idea about this. Since the red, green and blue will be seperated on paper from a distance they may (or should) reflect white light. It would only be if the ink of the three colours were mixed on the paper that brown would be produced. I better not give up my day job.
