Disable Flash ads on deviantArt
If you're an Opera user there is a really easy way to disable Flash ads on deviantArt.com. Note that this is not an ad-blocking technique. You'll still be presented ads, but they won't be use Flash which seems to really how responsive Opera is as the ads load.
- Open your Opera preferences from Tools > Preferences… or press Alt + P
- Go to the Avanced tab select Content from the list on the left then click the Manage Site Preferences… button.
- In the Server Manager dialog, press the Add… button
- In the Site Preferences dialog type adsvr.deviantart.com in the Site text field under the General tab.
- Under the Content tab remove the tick from beside Enable plug-ins.
- Click Ok then Close then Ok again finally in Preferences and you're done.
